RIP, Steve.

You taught me how important animals were, and the majority of my life has been dedicated to them thanks to it. I wouldn't be who I am if it wasn't for you. I wish you an eternity of peace to rest up from an exciting life. You were a good man.

I almost cried this morning when my father woke me up to tell me. As a child Steve Irwin was an enormous part of my life. I would run around with my stuffed snake Andy- who I still have- and wrestle him to the ground, then say, "What a beauty!" and let him go. Memories like this will no longer be joyful.

The world will miss you, Steve. If ever I mocked you once I got older, I am sorry beyond comprehension.
